Old Pueblo Hall Exhibits required for ALL projects by ALL Pima 4-H County Fair Exhibitors.
Those showing at the 2025 Pima County Fair must enter an exhibit into OPH that is related to their fair project. For those with multiple fair projects, please select one project to represent in OPH. Each individual showman should be creating their own exhibit for OPH based on their individual project. Exhibits can include posters (22"x28" or smaller), photography, baking, welding, etc. feel free to get creative with these exhibits. This excludes FFA members.
B. For all judged shows, 4-H/FFA members must be present and in show dress as defined in the General Animal Science Rules & Regulations under Exhibitor Dress. See general small stock requirements.
C. Only exhibits to be judged may be brought to the Fair unless prior arrangements have been made with the Project Coordinator
D. All exhibitors must provide your own plastic food and water cups. The Project Superintendent will tag cages without water or food. If your cage is tagged please contact the Project Superintendent. E. All breeds accepted by the National Pigeon Association (NPA), as stated in the Standard of Perfection, may be exhibited by 4-H/FFA Small Stock exhibitors. Any breed not listed in the NPA standard will be placed in an appropriate class, but is only eligible for Best of Variety and Best of Breed (not Champion of Show). F. "Squeakers", squabs, or chicks under 30 days and not yet weaned/flying, may be brought with mothers only as part of an educational display with prior approval of Project Superintendent. G. Exhibits/birds must have numbered seamless bands, and number must correspond/match the entry form submitted. Birds with the wrong band numbers will not be allowed to be entered. This rule will be strictly enforced. (Pigeons without a seamless leg band will be entered into a yearling class. Yearling class is not eligible for best of variety, best of breed, best in show, or auction). H. Exhibits may also be entered in Open Division; however, Open Exhibits must be removed from the barn until check-in time. Exhibits not removed from Open will be disqualified from exhibiting in the current Small Stock 4-H/FFA Division. I. Under no circumstances will eggs be removed from exhibitor’s cage by anyone, EXCEPT THE EXHIBITOR. J. No racing or homing pigeons are to be released at the Fairgrounds for homing. Please crate and transport them home. K. The following rules pertain to Pigeon Meat Pens:a. Exhibitors in Meat Pen classes are limited to two entries of meat pens.b. Meat Pens must be entered as same breed mated pairs, and must be from the Utility class.c. All Utility breeds accepted by the National Pigeon Association (NPA), as stated in the Standard of Perfection, may be exhibited by 4-H/FFA Small Stock exhibitors.d. Entries must be leg-banded with seamless bandse. Meat Pen entries may not be entered in the Breed Utility class
