Biology Honors

In this comprehensive lab-oriented course students study living things from a cellular/biochemical perspective.  It emphasizes investigative and critical thinking skills, as well as extensive independent work and reading.  

Students must be self-motivated, academically responsible, and able to spend considerable time to the daily preparation of this fast-paced class. This is the first life science course in the college preparation of the student who has demonstrated high aptitude and skills in science, math, reading, and writing.
