Leaders provide a safe physical and mental environment for staff to try new things and alternative approaches that might be more effective. Staff are encouraged to develop their personal skills and adopt new innovations and technologies.
Leaders develop positive relationships with staff at all levels. Trust and respect is mutual and staff wellbeing and development are key to motivation and morale.
Leaders ensure the working environment enables staff to focus on the learning, safety and wellbeing of all staff and pupils. There is effective deployment of staff, budget, estate and educational resources. Risks are managed and safeguarding is paramount.
Leaders embeds teaching and learning that deepens and extends engagement and improves achievement. Academic attainment and personal and social development go hand-in-hand and there is a broad offer of extra- curricular activities.
Leaders build the reputation of the school, develop positive relationships with community leaders & build a web of links across the school to other organisations and individuals.
