Level 3 Teaching Assistant

This apprenticeship is suitable for new or current Teaching Assistants; this course develops the knowledge, skills and behaviours identified through the apprenticeship  in line with your current experience. It typically takes 18 months plus the 12 week End Point Assessment period (EPA). The course is 50% assignments and professional discussions with your tutor and 50% practical observations in your role.

You can choose the general Level 3 Teaching Assistant Apprenticeship. However following feedback from previous cohorts we have also developed two specialisms which you can also choose if you prefer: Level 3 Teaching Assistant Apprenticeship with SEN Pathway or Level 3 Teaching Assistant Apprenticeship with EAL Pathway.

Our end goal is for you to achieve your qualification and feel confident in your ability. We’ll be with you every step of the way!

This is 10 to 15 pieces of evidence that demonstrate the qualification standards. We support you to find the best bits of evidence according to your context but generally include:

EAL Pathway

Our EAL Pathway has been written alongside an EAL specialist in order to support the English language acquisition at all levels of fluency, all still free!

What if I don't have English and Maths GCSE grade C  or above 4/5 or above)?

No problem for us - we’ll help you complete the relevant Functional Skills so you can achieve those too!
