Agricultural leadership members took our school's special education students to the school farm to provide them with horticultural and livestock therapy and to improve their mental health. This allowed them to have hands-on instruction outside of their classroom and to care for and interact with animals like chickens and rabbits

The focus for this activity stemmed from a need to increase the mental and physical health of the school's special education students through engaging in agriculture hands-on activity and social interactions with general education students

FFA members helped their community by donating 729 pairs of socks through the sock drive held as an activity to help local homeless shelters in our area. This allows students a chance to give back to the community by helping out the less fortunate and becoming more connected to the community around us

This event served as a way for students from Elk Grove FFA to get involved within our community and help the people around them who are less fortunate and going through difficult times.
