Information for parents and carers

Our provision opening times are 9:30am - 3pm Monday - Thursday. Your home school will make sure you are able to travel to the provision when they apply for a placement.

Please contact the provision by 9am if your child is going to be absent or late.

Children attending the provision spend Friday at their 'home' school to ensure they stay connected and continue to feel a sense of belonging.

We ask children to wear a white polo shirt and black or grey trousers, skirts or shorts. The provisions provide a host school sweatshirt to make sure everyone feels they belong.

Children can bring a packed lunch or parents/carers can pay for a hot school dinner. If you are eligible for Free School Meals, the provision and home school will arrange this.

Inset and closure days are published on the host school websites, these may differ from your home school's dates. Provision staff will also make every effort to keep you informed.

Placements usually run for 2 terms (approximately 24 teaching weeks). As children reach the last 6 - 8 weeks, they will increase the amount of time they spend at their home school to ensure they are successfully reintegrated.
