Acorns SEMH Enchanced Provision is hosted at White Bridge Primary, a large 2 form entry school, set within extensive grounds.
White Bridge has a caring and inclusive ethos; all staff have undertaken training, in order to become a TP (Trauma Perceptive) school. The motto at White Bridge is Be the best version of you, staff support children on this journey by valuing wellbeing, fostering a sense of belonging, harnessing potential and celebrating successes. Children attending Acorns Provision are welcomed into the school community and benefit from being part of the White Bridge family.
The new purpose built provision opened its doors in September 2024. It is situated in the main school site, overlooking the playing fields.
Within the provsion are two class bases and a home room with a fully equiped kitchen. There is also a calm room and two outdoor spaces.
The children have access to main school play areas, so there is plenty of space to run around, enjoy the large climbing equipment and challenge themselves on the mile a day track.
When appropriate, children attending Acorns can join lessons in the mainstream school, supported by our staff.
Acorns currently offers 8 places to KS2 children from any Epping Forest Primary school.
