Creating Milo the Space Rover

After landing on Planet WeDo, the Year 5 astronauts found themselves in a dangerous situation and in need of some help to explore this new, toxic planet. Luckily for them, our computing focus on coding meant they could create Milo the Space Rover. Using the great Lego WeDo kits, year 5 used coding, motion sensors and collaboration to safely explore the planet. 

Separating Materials

In science this half term, our focus is on properties of materials. The pupils have been exploring different ways of separating materials, ranging from sieving and decanting to picking out with hands and using magnets.

Getting Musical!

Year 5 have been getting out the glockenspiels in music this half term. Please watch how they have been getting on!
