We started the term by looking at the different types of rocks there are. To help us understand, we created igneous, sedimentary and metamorphic rocks using sweets!
We've had more rock fun in English and Science this week by finding out all about the properties of a variety of natural rocks. We investigated whether rocks were permeable or durable and also tested their density by exploring whether they floated or sank! These experiments should help us with our writing next week which will all be linked to... ROCKS!
Year 3 had lots of fun using chalk pastels to create art for Remembrance Sunday.
This week, we have started learning some basic greetings in French. We also competed in a mini quiz too!
This week, we were visited by a local fire fighter to tell us all about safety in the home.
This week in maths we used sweets to make fractions a little more fun!
Miss Emery ran a dance club for 3B this half term. Here is our final dance!
We have practised our Roman Numerals in maths by making games. We spent time today playing them!
We have been busy making comics, stockings and Christmas elves!
