The goal of my project was to research the connection between music and photography and to create a photo book, with images taken by myself, which are all inspired and titled by my favorite songs. Throughout this project, I improved my photography skills and developed more of an interest for music and photography.

My experience with this project was very positive and I had a great time working on it. I had some trouble along the way, but I am very proud of the result.

My advice to next year's 9th graders is to start the project as early as possible. It is very helpful if you start brainstorming during the summer and begin recording all of your work and research on your process journal. Make sure to work on the project a little bit every week, and the work will not pile up during the end.
