A New and Fun Way to Learn About the Digestive System
The Digestive System: Through the GI Tract is an anatomy book with easy-to-understand diagrams, bright colours to capture attention, and the perfect level of information for students of different levels and with different learning styles. The book is suitable for ages of around 8-10, and especially benefits those, who find reading a more difficult way to learn and are rather more visual learners. With this series of Dr. Rabbit Adventures, the aim is to provide all students with different ways of learning the same level of materials and information.
It's been a long journey to get here. A lot of planning, trial and error, and sketches have gone into this project to get to this point.
My advice for next year's 9th graders? Do it! Get it started. Plan every meeting as soon as possible, otherwise, you will forget. Every teacher says this same thing, but it is a good point and is to be taken seriously! Please don't leave it for the last month thinking you'll get it done... chances are you won't. It may be stressful, so make sure to pick something you are passionate about and can see yourself completing. Just have fun with it and make sure to keep the deadlines in mind :).
