Binghamton University is committed to environmental sustainability; its largest and best-used laboratory is its nature preserve encompassing 182 acres of natural land, including a 20-acre wetland.


Binghamton offers high value with several accelerated (4+1) degree programs that allow students to complete two degrees in five years, a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree. Students can transfer up to a full year of university credit from high-level AP, IB, and A-level exam scores.


Binghamton is considered a best-buy and a top value with a tuition cost of $24,910 USD. The total cost of attendance (including tuition, housing, meals, books, and fees) is approximately $46,500 USD. This is a fraction of the cost you might find at other private universities in New York. International students are given automatic consideration for partial merit-scholarships.

Scholarships / Financial Aid

International students are eligible for merit scholarship consideration.

Our highest merit scholarships go up to $13,500 USD, this represents about 25% of the total cost of attendance. The 2022-2023 total cost of attendance is $46,500 USD - this includes tuition, fees, housing and meals for one academic year. A scholarship application is NOT required. Students are automatically considered for scholarships when they apply for admission to Binghamton University.
