Augustana University

Augustana University is a private, undergraduate-focused institution made up of approximately 2,000 students from almost 50 countries. It was recently recognized as the #1 "Best Small Colleges for Getting a Job" in the United States. Recent Augustana graduates have achieved a 99% job placement rate, and 96% have had hands-on learning experiences, such as undergraduate research, internships, study abroad, or employment in our growing medium-sized city, Sioux Falls. Augustana has recently signed new partnerships with Universidad Hispanoamericana and Lead University in Costa Rica, meaning that many U.S. students at AU will have study experience in Central America. We offer more than 100 majors, minors and pre-professional programs in a wide variety of academic areas and with a strong liberal arts core, preparing students for a wide range of careers in a quickly changing employment environment. AU students graduate with solid preparation within their major, but also with strong writing, oral communication, teamwork, and critical thinking skills.
