Brain Dumps

A brain dump is not an assessment but a learning task in which the teacher pauses at a certain time during a lesson and has students retrieve all the information they remember about a certain topic that was taught. Effective practice then allows students to compare their brain dump to an exhaustive example and become meta cognitive of the area's within a topic that they need to re-address.
