These activities are beneficial for students to complete at the beginning (or end) of their Reading, Writing and Maths learning each day.
Reading: Read a reader each day and revise M100W - cut out words to practice reading out of order or making into a game like bingo, snap, memory etc.
Writing: Using the alphabet track (below), have a go at writing your alphabet in lowercase. Then write underneath in uppercase on dotted thirds paper.
Spelling: Use your SMART Chart and the track below to practice articulating the different sounds (phonemes) we can hear in words. This can be used to assist you when choosing spelling choices in your writing.
Maths: Practice forming your numbers on a whiteboard or paper. If you can write your numbers forward to 20, see if you can write them backwards.
