These activities are beneficial for students to complete at the beginning (or end) of their Reading, Writing and Maths learning each day.
Reading: Read a reader each day and revise M100W - cut out words to practice reading out of order or making into a game like bingo, snap, memory etc.
Writing: Using the alphabet track (below), have a go at tracing your alphabet letters on the laminated sheet.
Next: If your child is confident when tracing their alphabet letters, have a go at listening to the track and writing the letters on the line in your writing book.
Spelling: Use your SMART Chart (sent home in Week 5 pack) and the track below to practice articulating the different sounds (phonemes) we can hear in words.
Maths: Practice forming your numbers on the laminated tracing sheet.
Next: If you child is confident when tracing their alphabet letters, have a go at watching one of the number writing videos (below) and writing your numbers on a whiteboard or paper.
