Here is a really useful App for when you have repetitive text you may be typing. It works in Documents, Emails, Forms and just about anything that you can paste into. If you need to type your phone number, email address or address signature just allocate a hot key combination. With the program running in the background you can speed up what you are doing and reduce stress in typing.
The Program will ruin from its EXE file so you do not have to install it. Just download it and place it somewhere you can find it. I moved mine to the Public Documents folder as I knew there would not be a lot of files placed there.
Once you have it in place double click to run it and the program will pop up on a small window.
Now click on Optios make sure that Start with Windows is Ticked and also Tick Always Start Minimaised
Now you can start adding your text shortcuts. In the add text box type your eMail address. Under Menu Text Type eMail. Change the Hot Key combination to CTRL + ALT. Select the Letter E and then click ADD.
In the add text box type your Signature Address. Under Menu Text Type Signature Address. Change the Hot Key combination to CTRL + ALT. Select the Letter S and then click ADD.
If you want to test it out open Notepad.
Hold the CTRL + ALT + E. You will see your eMail address paste on the page.
Hold the CTRL + ALT + S. You will see you signature address appear.
Now you can continue adding, and add in the future, any combinations you need. You can use other combinations where the CTRL+ALT is but be wary of overriding combinations already in place like CTRL+V etc.
