In Week 4, students from Kogarah Intensive English Centre embarked on an exciting camp to The Tops Conference Centre at Stanwell Tops. This outdoor experience offered a fantastic opportunity for students to connect with each other and immerse themselves in the beauty of Australian nature.
Throughout the camp, students challenged themselves with thrilling activities such as abseiling, the giant swing and archery. These adventures encouraged them to step outside their comfort zones, build confidence, and develop resilience in a supportive environment.
Beyond the physical activities, the camp was a valuable bonding experience. Students forged new friendships, shared laughter, and worked together, strengthening the sense of community at Kogarah IEC. It was also an ideal setting for practising English in real-life contexts, enhancing their language skills outside the classroom.
Overall, the KIEC camp combined learning, personal growth and fun - creating lasting memories for all who attended. We look forward to more opportunities like this where our students can thrive both academically and personally.
