Curation collection
- Taking on the final form
Through my exploration I developed an understanding of the concepts I was finding as well as a better understanding of the terminology used. On reflection, what I was initially asking was actually:
How can we design learning environments to support general capabilities?
Where the design of a learning environment includes:
To address all of these questions would be out of the scope of this task. I have therefore focused on the final point by looking at how spaces can be designed to support the type of learning activities that would be expected throughout inquiry learning, with a heavy focus on social and collaborative learning.
With this realisation I will use the following question to frame my curated collection and infographic:
How can we design learning spaces to support the range of activities in inquiry learning?
After about ten weeks of gestational age, the embryo becomes known as a fetus. Until this point, the embryos of most species look almost identical (see image).
Before the process of curation, my understanding of the inquiry question I set out to answer had no discernible features in comparison to any other inquiry question or research into learning environments.
Now that I have deeply engaged with a number of resources and critically evaluated each, I have a clearly formed conceptual response to my question "how can we design learning spaces to support the range of activities in inquiry learning?"
