Staff continue preparing their ARP in faculty groups in I-Block. During Week 6, staff should be implementing and collecting data from the interventions they have implemented in the classroom.
By the end of Week 7, staff should have begun placing information into their ARP scaffold. Please see below some resources to help you achieve this:
Examples of Action Research Project Posters - https://www.theibsc.org/teaching-learning/action-research/action-research-posters
These ARP summary presentations will allow us to share our projects with others in a format that is easy to communicate and interpret. Our core business is teaching and learning and so our presentation format needs to be one that is appropriate.
We have developed an A3 ARP slide template for you as a format guide. We expect your presentations to be 2-3 A3 slides / sheets. The Google Slide doc has been setup so that it can be also be printed off at this size for display as well as also having the ability for it to be presented digitally. Staff / Faculties will present their ARPs to staff (approximately 10 minutes) in PL time in weeks 8-10.
Below you will also find some examples of ARPs that have been conducted by other schools (both nationally and internationally). These examples have been presented in the form of published papers as well as summary videos which communicate the process undertaken as well as their findings. These examples have been shared with you to simply give you an insight into how others have undertaken this process. Please note that some of these have been undertaken in very condensed time frames (6 weeks)! There is some interesting stuff in here!
