The resources listed below are a collation of some of the various tools available to support student learning. What students need to know and be able to do should drive the selection of the learning tool.
Free application that allows students to create short video messages to share with the group. The teacher controls the settings for the class and students need parent permission to use it. Lots of additional resources available.
Collaborative whiteboard space that allows students to write text, sticky notes and images. You have access to this application via your Google account.
Interactive presentation tool. It can be added to Google slides and PowerPoint and allow the integration of questions making the knowledge presented in the slides more interactive with the class. You can try for free but features are limited.
Online debating application where students can add the pros and cons to an argument. A two column layout is used to improve readability. Students vote for the strongest arguments which then surface to the top of each column. A free application
A collaborative whiteboard space for class discussions. Students access this site with a link and they only see their whiteboard. Teachers see the whiteboards of all class members.
Microsoft Whiteboard
Part of Office 365 and works with Teams. You can access through the staff portal Office 365 tile. Download the application to your computer for best functionality.

MURAL is a digital work space for visual collaboration. A good tool for implementing a design thinking approach. Free for educators.
A multiplayer drawing and guessing game. Players need to guess what another player is drawing. A good application to maintain those relationships.
StoryboardThat
Free for teachers to use with limited functionality. Students would need to pay but could use a trial version if you wanted them to try it in your classroom.
Students can create and publish their own digital books. Cost involved but you can access a free trial.
Adobe Suite
This includes a variety of applications which allow students to create their own creative artefacts. Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and more.
A free application for recording and editing sound. Students can create music soundtracks and podcasts.
Teachers and students can voice over existing video and image files, pause and highlight key elements for discussion. You can provide feedback to students on the threads that they compose. There is an annual fee.
Create short video stories and social graphics using this application. There is a free starter plan but probably has limited feature. This is not included in the education adobe suite.
Students are able to create their own music score. Thanks to the Music Department for this find.
Asks students to look at decision making from six different viewpoints.

Responses to a question are gathered from students which are then collated into a word cloud which can be shared.
TedED has a series of curated videos and lessons related to a variety of topics. Specifically designed for students and teachers. You and your students can also become creators.
You can edit videos and track students comprehension using this tool.
The school has a subscription to this service. You are able to add quizzes to the video to gauge student comprehension.
From 14th April, between 10 and 3pm, ABC will be airing educational programs that may be of interest. These videos are also available via ABC iview and possibly ABCME. Check it out!
This program allows you to annotate a you tube clip or a video. Great for flipping the classroom.
