This session aims to provide staff with an update as to the direction of Professional Learning at CGHS in 2022. Staff will participate in establishing a framework which will be used to drive learning and teaching across our school.
In 2022 we will see our PLC's focus on Deep Learning. This is a school wide focus area as driven by our school strategic plan. This is not a project , it is a change of culture.
Deep Learning is built on the belief that all students can learn if school systems shift from sorting talent to developing the talent of diverse learners. The success of Deep Learning's power lies in our schools ability to establish a strong teaching and learning culture which recognises the changing nature of the world around us.

Faculties are to use this time to undertake necessary planning for the weeks ahead.
BYO Morning Tea - Mike the Coffee Man will be onsite

HT's to lead their faculty meetings and disseminate important information and implications relating to teaching and learning for the next 4 weeks.

This time has been provided for staff to undertake essential planning / preparation and ajustments in readiness for teaching and learning during the first four weeks.

This session is mandatory for all Year Advisors and aims to provide a forum for the dissemination of critical information for the term ahead.

This time has been provided for staff to continue in their undertaking of essential planning / preparation / mandatory training and ajustments in readiness for teaching and learning during the first four weeks.
