Physiotherapy Service (NHS)

What the Service Does:  Physiotherapists are experts in how bodies move and develop. Physiotherapists help patients rehabilitate or improve their normal development and how their body functions and moves, using a range of specialist skills and techniques to educate, support, exercise, and guide recovery from injury or disease.


Age Range:  Birth to 18 years 


How to Access:  Families and professionals working with children can get in touch to discuss any concerns about children or young people.  Any other professional supporting a family or working with children, such as health and social care professionals, early years practitioners or teachers, can request assistance from physiotherapy, so long as that child’s parents have given their consent.   Requests should be made via a Request for Assistance form below.
