Child Protection Level 1

All staff should complete all mandatory modules within 4 weeks of commencing employment with ELC. We advice that best practice is for your Child Protection completion certificate be printed, shared with your line manager and the schools you work with.
These module must be completed every 2 years thereafter. You will receive a reminder that these are about to expire, it is therefore vital you ensure your details are up to date within your learnpro account.
We have a number of additional adults who work in schools on a regular basis such as students, work experience, volunteers etc
They will not have a log in account for learnpro, however school leaders should ask them to complete Child Protection Level 1 using this link below and record completion for their own records.

Level 2- Inter- agency Child Protection Risk Assessment and Processes
Child protection level 2- is formally called INTER- AGENCY CHILD PROTECTION RISK ASSESSMENTS AND PROCESSES
This course is specifically for intensive workforce / Designated Members of Staff(DMS) who have responsibility for Child Protection within the education setting.
This course should be refreshed every 3 years.
If you wish to attend a course, you should first speak to your line manager about whether this course is suitable for your role and level of experience. Before applying for any course, you are required to seek your manager’s approval, ensure that you are available on the day and have protected time to attend before applying. There may also be pre-requisites for attending courses

Places are allocated by priority for each school and there may be a waiting list for this course.
