What the Service Does: We offer short-term confidential, 1:1 support through a blend of inperson and online working. Everyone’s needs are different, but you might want to:
• Reflect on the assessment process
• Better understand your diagnosis (if one has been given)
• Explore what this might mean for you
• Develop strategies and skills to support you in these areas.
We can also help you develop skills to communicate your needs with others in your life and support you in doing so (if you wish).
Age Range: This service is aimed at children and young people up to 18 years old in East Lothian who:
• Have been given a neurodevelopmental diagnosis at any point (for example, autism or ADHD), or
• Have had a neurodevelopmental assessment where there has been no formal diagnosis, but they identify as neurodivergent.
How to Access: Referrals can be made to this service via The Single Point of Access my sending a Request for Assistance Form to cypspa@eastlothian.gov.uk. More information about how to make a Request for Assistance to the Single Point of Access can be found here.
