The purpose of the SEL Committee is to drive the implementation of SEL at Dignity through professional training opportunities and important SEL programs, policies and procedures.

The roles and responsibilities of SEL Committee members are as follows:

• Attend SEL Committee meetings

• Provide feedback and input on SEL goals, programs, policies and procedures

• Assist with the implementation of SEL activities

• Run or assist in the execution of a minimum of 6 professional learning workshops for teachers

• Communicate regularly with Lead Teachers on SEL initiatives
