A website created by current EWHS IB Mandarin seniors who aim to help new and returning students get the most out of online learning, avoid the mistakes of former students, and better understand the structure and guidelines of the course.
Most of the website content is from the "Modern Chinese" textbook, used at all levels of Mandarin.
The site contains additional lessons covered in class that are not in the textbook, but are helpful to know.
The EWHS Chinese Helpers quizlet contains 51 sets for vocabulary practiceof the Modern Chinese Units, as well as random vocabulary lists, including holidays, rooms, IB Learner Profile, etc.
Kanglaoshi730's ab-initio-mandarin sets contain the basic vocabulary terms for the IB-initio tests. Chilaoshi sent these sets out to her Chinese 3 and 4 students over the past summer to help them prepare for the new school year.
Perfect Chinese is a resource website made by Carina Ly, who graduated from EWHS a couple years ago and currently attends Stanford University. It contains recordings, dialogues, and vocabulary work for students using the Modern Chinese Books.
