Completion of Required Hours/Experiences:
DP (CAS): Students must complete a balanced set of experiences in creativity, activity, and service over the duration of the program.
CP (SL): Students must engage in service learning that integrates service with the curriculum. Min. 50 hours outside of the classroom
Meeting the Learning Outcomes (for DP and CP):
Students should ensure that they have met the Learning Outcomes
Regular Reflection:
Students must reflect on their experiences regularly, showing personal and interpersonal growth.
Reflections should cover achievements, challenges, and the learning process.
Reflections must refer to the 5 Stages of Service Learning (for projects)
Maintaining a CAS/SL Portfolio:
An online Learner Passport Portfolio must be kept to document experiences, reflections, and evidence of meeting learning outcomes.
The portfolio can include written reflections, photos, videos, or other forms of evidence.
Completion of a Collaborative Project:
Students must participate in at least one collaborative project that involves working with others over an extended period.
Mentor and Coordinator Approvals:
Regularly meet with CAS/SL mentors for guidance and feedback.
Ensure activities and reflections are approved by their mentors and meet IB criteria.
Final Interview:
Complete a final interview showcasing personal growth, the impact of activities, and learning outcomes.

Please mark students as Concern if needed and - in cases where significant support is required - please contact me directly. This stage is after consultation with the student, Concern Status noted on ManageBac, and communication to the parent.
