A CORE and COMPULSORY Component of the Diploma Programme
What is CAS?
CAS is a unique, experience-based program aimed at fostering personal growth and development. It allows you to plan and engage in meaningful activities and projects that contribute to your community and your own learning journey.
Why CAS?
The CAS program encourages you to become a well-rounded individual by challenging yourself in creative, active, and service-oriented activities. It helps you build valuable skills and foster a sense of responsibility and community engagement.
How to Navigate CAS
Throughout the Diploma Programme, you'll have the support of your CAS Mentor, CAS Coordinator, and Diploma Programme (DP) Coordinator. They are here to provide guidance and assistance as you create and implement your CAS plan. However, remember, this is your program, and the initiative lies with you. Keep in mind that you CANNOT pass your Diploma without a successful CAS Portfolio.
Remember: Your CAS Project must be documented and show engagement that lasts for at least one month’s duration. You need to have shown initiative, demonstrate perseverance, and develop skills such as collaboration, problem-solving, and decision-making. The CAS project can address any single strand of CAS, or combine two or all three strands.
