The Garden Club thanks all the Aviators and their families who attended the Back to School Garden Workday on Saturday, August 26th!

We had a record-breaking turnout and as a result accomplished more than we imagined! In summary, after an hour and a half working together, we completely removed all weeds from the science garden, repaired our garden shed and reconnected the hoses. We harvested 1 lbs. green beans, tomatoes and carrots, each, over 5 lbs. of golden potatoes, and well over 20 lbs. of colossal cabbages!! The food was largely donated to Earhart staff and those who volunteered on Saturday. Please share event photos to: garden@earhartpta.org or via Konstella! 

Ms Yuen’s former and current third graders harvested their project colossal cabbages planted last Spring as part of the Garden Club’s Bonnie Cabbage program. Thank you, Ms Yuen, for piloting this program and we look forward to doing this with the current third graders!
