Strengthening Mathematics Through Connections to Literature

Students relate to stories and characters. This session will show you some connections of mathematics to literature. We will look at ways to promote the mathematics naturally through stories, have students find mathematics in the stories that they love, and allow students to see themselves in literature and math.
