Goals for the session include:
1) Learn what mathematical language routines are.
2) Discover how mathematical language routines support language and math instruction simultaneously for all students, especially English Language Learners.
3) Identify practical strategies for implementing the routines in your classroom.

For Teachers: Survival Tips for Parents of Children Enduring "New Math"

This can have the effect of sending conflicting messages mathematics is. In this session, we will discuss strategies that ALL parents can use to help their students in mathematics--regardless of their own perceived competence with mathematics. Participants will also come away with resources that they can share with parents.
