GENERAL INFORMATION
Garber High School partners with Delta College to offer dual enrollment (DE) courses.
If you are considering going to college after high school, taking DE classes is an excellent way to be more prepared for that step.
GHS will cover up to $628 per class for approved classes.
Students in grades 9-12 may enroll in a DE course, but keep in mind students must also meet Michigan graduation requirements. This is why students usually wait until their junior or senior year to enroll. If manageable, students may take up to 10 DE courses while in high school.
Registration opens for the following fall/winter semester every March. So if a current high school junior wants to take a DE course the fall of their senior year, they will need to start the process in February/March of their junior year.

MICHIGAN TRANSFER AGREEMENT & TRANSFER NETWORK
The MTA was designed to facilitate the transfer of general education requirements from one institution to another. To guarantee that classes transfer, it is best to speak with the school that you intend to transfer too. Delta College's MTA guide is a useful tool to plan dual enrollment classes that fall under the MTA.
The Michigan Transfer Network allows students and advisors to view transfer course equivalencies between many Michigan colleges and universities. You can search for courses by sending institution (the institution where you completed the course) or by the receiving institution (the institution where you plan to transfer the course). This information is provided as a resource to identify potential transfer credit and is not an official credit evaluation or a guarantee of transfer credit. Can't find your course? Contact a participating institution.
