On 12th December, 2022, the students of grade 11 visited an NGO. ‘ A home for the dying destitute ’.
The Jeevan Jyoti Ashram, with the intention of celebrating
‘Founder’s Day’.
A school event marking the birthday of Dr. Ajeenkya Patil, with all of its residents.
Prior to the main event, the students had engaged in meticulously
planning the entire program one week before the visit. A lot of time
and effort had been put into ensuring that the program would satisfy
the members of the NGO. Regular practice sessions guaranteed a
refined and polished performance.
The program included a musical performance of a mashup of old Hindi songs as well as a cake cut in celebration of ‘Founder’s Day’.
In addition to this, the students presented an abundance of basic needs and necessities bought and provided by the school to the NGO’s residents.
Hoping that it would leave a lasting impression on them.
Overall, the program was successful, and the members and residents of the NGO were impressed and content with the plethora of talents that the students had presented to them as well as the gifts that they had received from the school.
