“Look deep into nature, and then you will understand everything
better.”
- Albert Einstein
In the month of August, we had been part of an educational trip to Forganic farms, Khopoli.
This one-day trip consisted of several fun and adventurous
activities, such as fishing, paddy sowing, burma bridge, mountain
slope climbing, and archery. The students found these activities
quite challenging as they are not used to the rural lifestyle and
environment.
There was an interesting session where students were informed
about organic compost and waste, and its significance and
benefits to the environment.
It was beautiful. There was greenery all around us, and fresh air.
We trekked through the area and saw the place. We concluded
with ‘Rain Dance’. It was mesmerizing to dance together and the
teachers joined us too.
The change in environment from a well-developed city to a forest- like area was quite refreshing and enjoyable. There were moments of fun and laughter, and there were moments of learning too.
" This has been one of the best experiences I have had after the pandemic. Spending most of my time indoors had started to erase my memories about the beauty of my surroundings, and this trip gave me an opportunity to cherish it. "
