Transitioning into the IB Career-related Programme (CP) is an exciting opportunity to blend your professional passions with academic excellence. At the heart of this journey is the CP Core, designed to develop the real-world skills and ethical mindset you’ll need in any future career. The summer tasks for these four components - Community Engagement, Personal and Professional Skills (PPS), the Reflective Project, and Language & Cultural Studies - are your first steps in shifting from a student to a professional. These activities will help you begin identifying community needs, exploring ethical dilemmas in your career field, and building the metacognitive habits that define a successful CP candidate. By engaging with these core elements now, you ensure a confident and purposeful start to your Grade 11 year.
