This IBDP Business Management subject page has been designed to support your transition from Grade 10 into the demands of the Diploma Programme. Summer Task/Project

To prepare for IB DP Business Management, students should complete the following task before starting Grade 11. The aim is to build business awareness, develop analytical thinking, and become familiar with real-world business issues.

Business News Journal

Students should follow business news over the summer and create a short journal with 5 business news articles.

For each article, students should include:

Article title and source - BBC Business, The Guardian, Forbes, CNBC, Financial Times, Gulf News Business, Khaleej Times Business, etc

Business involved- Name of the company or organization

Summary - 100–150 words explaining what happened

Key business issue - Marketing, finance, operations, human resources, ethics, sustainability, globalization, innovation, or leadership

Personal reflection - What can the business learn from this situation?

Suggested topics - AI in business, social media marketing, sustainability, inflation, entrepreneurship, electric cars, fast fashion, airline industry, food delivery apps, or luxury brands.
