Throughout this committee, we will tackle the prospects of current threats to refugees across global conflicts and develop the best methods towards ensuring that those, especially the youth, have access to the proper resources to rebuild and thrive in their new environments.

Nasida Babayeva is a Senior and this is her fourth year on the team. She likes the valuable experiences and skills she has gained in debating, teamwork, and overall diplomacy through Model UN. She is particularly interested in the research, collaboration, and negotiation involved in drafting resolutions for MUN. Outside of MUN, Nasida is involved in activities related to neuroscience, medicine, and chess. This is her third time chairing for this conference and she is looking forward to d.mun III!

Sonia Mudnal is a sophomore at Design Tech High School, and this is her second year on the Model UN team. She enjoys writing position papers and debating with other delegates, and she received an Outstanding Research award at her very first conference. Outside of MUN, Sonia sings competitively and has won several awards for her performances. She also participates in FRC, Girls Who Code, and enjoys creative writing in her free time. This is her first time chairing at a conference, and she's really looking forward to d.mun III!
