This historical committee takes place back during the time of prohibition, in the 1920s. Concern over addicts and alcoholics led the country to pass an amendment banning the sale, consumption, or distribution of alcohol in the US. As a result, illegal bars called speakeasies have popped up, unsafe alcohol is being distributed, and gangs have grown powerful. Members of this committee will take on the role of members of the House of Representatives to come up with solutions to address these problems.
