We continue our commitment to supporting all students in our district, we wanted to inform you about upcoming community events dedicated to children with disabilities. Throughout the school year, various community members and organizations reach out to us to share information about these events. While the district has no affiliation with these events, we believe they can provide valuable opportunities for our families.
It's important to note that families are encouraged to conduct their own research prior to registering for any event. We recommend reviewing the event details, including registration requirements, accessibility accommodations, and any associated costs.
These events may include but are not limited to:
Adaptive sports days
Art therapy workshops
Sensory-friendly movie nights
Support group meetings
Educational workshops
Social skill-building activities
By participating in these community events, families can connect with resources, support networks, and opportunities tailored to the needs of children with disabilities.
As event details become available, we will do our best to share flyers with families on this webpage.
