Hello my name is Thihini (but I also go by Rachel) and I am based in Atlanta, GA. I am 17 years old and my favorite color is pink. I am able to speak two languages fluently: Sinhala (my native language) and English being the second. I started attending Drew Charter School in the seventh grade and intend to complete the remainder of my high school years and graduate from this school. I am an ambitious, hardworking, and dedicated individual. I value giving back to the community and making a difference in the lives of those around me by volunteering. I will be graduating from high school in 2025.

"Greetings from Sri Lanka"
I was born in Sri Lanka, a beautiful island in Asia and I moved to the US in 2016 with my family. I enjoy learning about different cultures and languages, therefore I would love to travel the world in the near future and expose myself to different parts of the world.

After high school, my primary goal is to attend college and pursue a bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering and a master's degree in Supply Chain Engineering. I hope to work towards attaining a job as a Systems engineer at an airline or manufacturing company.
One of my favorite hobbies is baking, particularly pastries and cakes, and I find great joy in experimenting with new recipes. I also enjoy traveling with my family. I have had the opportunity to visit Sri Lanka, Canada, and several states in the United States. However, I look forward to exploring more destinations in the future. I enjoy outdoor activities such as hiking and zip-lining. Additionally, I am eager to explore photography as a hobby, with the intention of further developing my creative skills.
Post Secondary Plans
In the fall of 2025, I plan to attend Georgia Tech, where I will major in Industrial Engineering.
