Career Development

Since eighth grade, I’ve had my heart set on attending the Georgia Institute of Technology and worked hard to ensure that I reach this goal. That’s why, during college application season, I only applied to one school which was my dream school. I’m so grateful for the opportunities that helped me reach this goal.

I selected Georgia Tech for my higher education institution because it is the number one ranked school in the nation for my intended major, Industrial Engineering. However, what particularly drew me to Georgia Tech, besides the reputation, was its interdisciplinary approach, which will allow me to explore the areas of industrial engineering, data science, and human factors engineering. Georgia Tech's goal of advancing community well-being aligns with my own values. I look forward to engaging with projects and laboratories like the Socially Aware Mobility Lab to learn about global transit systems. Georgia Tech is the best option for me to evolve into a socially responsible engineer and problem-solver.
