Our Drew Eagles have been very busy this quarter! The kindergartners practiced their speaking and listening skills when they interviewed their friend to learn more about their toy preferences. They also used all of the elements of S.T.E.A.M. in their "Toys and Play" project. They learned about force and motion, used digital journals, created a blueprint and prototype of their friend's toy, engineered and designed a toy using recyclable materials, and incorporated attributes such as size, color, shape, and texture into their project. At the end of our picture gallery, please view an example of what is included in the students' STEAM Learning Journals. It shows what the students did throughout this unit.
