In class I learned that thermodynamics explains how energy moves and changes in our world, from how our bodies use food to how heat flows between objects. I discovered the laws of thermodynamics, which show that energy is always conserved, heat naturally spreads out, and objects eventually reach the same temperature. I also learned that entropy measures disorder, and as things get colder, particles move less.

In this film and literature project, I worked with a group to create an alternate ending to The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald. We reimagined the story by having Daisy and Gatsby reunite and escape together after a series of dramatic events. As part of the project, we visited a real movie set and filmed our version, bringing the new ending to life. This experience helped me develop skills in storytelling, collaboration, and film production while deepening my understanding of the original novel.
In this project, my group created a detailed slide presentation to document each step of making our alternate ending to The Great Gatsby. We included our process from writing the script to planning costumes and props, as well as organizing filming on a real movie set. We also showed how we assigned roles within the group, such as editor, filmer, and actors, to stay organized and work efficiently. This helped us clearly present our workflow and reflect on how we turned our ideas into a finished film.
