What does it mean to volunteer? Why would Drew require you volunteer for 100 hours during your high school career?
To volunteer means to give your time and effort to help others or support a cause without expecting to be paid. Drew Charter School requires students to complete 100 volunteer hours to encourage responsibility, build character, and help students connect with their community while gaining real-world experience.
Kindergarten Walk
Kindergarten Walk
During the kindergarten walk, we helped guide and support younger students while creating a welcoming and encouraging environment for them. As part of the process, we designed and made posters by brainstorming positive messages, choosing creative designs, and working together to make them colorful and engaging. This experience allowed us to use teamwork and creativity while making the kindergarten students feel excited and supported.
