Today we learned we are going to design geometric lamp
Today we learned we are going to design geometric lamp
Above are the steps we are going to take for the electronic and coding part of the project.
Above are the constraints for the project. I noted that there are some additional constraints that will need to be accomplished for my project.
Above are the steps we are going to take for the physical part of the project.
Today we made the Led light blink faster.
Today we bad a LED light blink on and off.
Today we learned how to make our ald lights to blink.
Today we made our prototype with tape.
Today we graphed our 3d design.
Today we drew four development ideas.
this is before I have to use geolamp for my wood cuts.
This is my MU for my first light pattern, so the lights start at the top and then go to the bottom at .5secs.
These are the boxes I have to cut out for the side of my conical flask to make it 3d.
I started the project by making three ideas of what I wanted to make then the teacher made us make 2 prototypes of it out of cardboard and assemble them together. Then we started making our code we had to make 3 patterns of our liking to put inside our box, the teacher graded it and then told us to start making it out of wood and used our geolamp to cut the wood out.
This is my group first time practicing bandsaw cutting
This is my second time using the bandsaw and we are using the
do's
.wear eye protection
.lower exposer
.get permission from the teacher
don'ts
.distract people using the machine
.horseplay
.leave the machine on
.wear safety glasses and ear protection
.only use wood
.adjust the height of the blade
don'ts
.start without the teacher
.leave machine on
keep hand close to blade
.need eye protection
.unplug when finished
.make sure cord isn't in the way
Don'ts
.no eye protection
.cord in the way
.still plugged in
.The picture with two pieces of is after using the miter saw on the wood
I did a bandsaw glue up today.
this is my practice I was doing for names and shapes.
today I learned how to 3d print and this is what I made
this is my cut out of evething seprate from eachother
this is everything glue back together
Today I sanded my box
today we stained our box
Today I sanded the inside of the box to make it more smoother.
Today I used to stencil doc to spray paint my name on it.
Today I did a stencil doc and printed my name out.
Today I attach my doorknob to my wood piece.
Today we made a cardboard box.
this is the schedule for this mini project. WE have five total class periods to complete this project.
these are our project constraints for this project.
Today we researched some ideas that we will use for our project. These are all the ideas I had for the project.
I used a bandsaw and Mitersaw to cut pieces of wood up.
This is my final sketch to make for my project.
day 1 on construction
Today started cutting pieces of wood and glued them together, using the bandsaw.
day 2 on construction
Today I finished cutting all of my wood straight using the miter saw cause I wanted all my wood pieces to be straight. then I glued together pieces together with the bandsaw and used wood glue to make a box. Then I started to belt the sander to make it smooth.
day 3 on construction
Today I spray painted my wooden box yellow and then started a new project since I was already done with the other one.
day 4 on construction
Today I used the bandsaw to cut the cloud out then sanded the edges to make the sides smoother.
day 5 on construction
Today I waited until the spray paint dry to paint the sides white, then waited for the white to dry then painted it black then sanded the back to make it smoother.
This is my project it is a Mario mystery box and an Akatuski cloud. The project size constraints were to be less than 18''x18x18 and the final dimensions of my project are 4x3 3/4, it was expected that my project was made out of 6 or more parts. For my project, I made it out of wood. I give my craftsmanship a 9/10 for this project because the Mario box could have been better and all the parts are not spray painted equally around.

Pull apart activity
Today in class we are going to take apart this camera. We know that this camera can do.
We know this camera can take videos and pictures. The lens itself can rotate. It can zoom in.
It's the camera itself with the motor at the bottom to make it move.
This is the top of the camera.
The mother board inside the camera.
Laptop Table
our new project is to create a project table. Mine will have folding legs.
Here is my cut list of the pieces I need to cut.
At the beginning of class we had this board, we was givin the task to cut it in half.
Today in class we used the Bandsaw to slice this board in half
Today we started with this big piece of wood
After we used the table saw to cut the big piece of wood we cut them into thinner pieces.
I used the orbital sander to sand my big piece of wood down more.
This before I nailed the wood and glued it together.
This is after I glued the sides to the bigger piece of wood.
This is the big piece of wood I started with today.
This is after I cut the big piece of wood for my table legs.
This is how the long piece of wood started.
Today i used the miter saw to cut the sides out for my table.
This is before I sanded my piece of wood.
This is after I sanded my piece of wood to make it smoother.
This is what I started with at the beginning of class.
This is after I cut my long piece of wood to make them my legs for my wood piece.
This is after I stained my wood pieces grey.I sanded some pieces that had to be sanded more.
Today I screwed all of my legs together in my bigger piece of wood.
