Personally, I chose Period 7 which is from 1898-1945. My 1 pager highlights certain topics like progressivism, expansion of government power, and improvement in technology.
The women’s empowerment movement in U.S. History stemmed from ongoing struggles for social and political equality. A major milestone in this movement was the ratification of the 19th amendment on June 4, 1919, which gave women the right to vote. Susan B. Anthony was a pioneer in the women’s suffrage movement, serving as president of the National Woman Suffrage Association and helping to pave the way for this historic achievement. The woman empowerment movement not only targeted voting rights but also other social issues like labor reform, racial equality, workplace rights, and reproductive freedom. Over the time of the women empowerment movement in the United States the gender divide in social and political classes became less and also helped women achieve greater rights.
