In this project we learned how to make tattoo ink and how to create different designs in tattoos. We learned to incorporate value, one of the elements of art, in our tattoo. We had to sketch out different designs we may have wanted, and we chose a final design and completed it with the ink.
This was our Charles Law experiment. In this experiment we filled a taped tablecloth with air and put it in sun to increase pressure. Charles law is that law that volume occupied by a fixed amount of gas is directly proportional to its absolute temperature.
This project was our final. For this project we were tasked of first researching an artist of any kind, like sculptors, painters, drawers, and potters. After we researched them we had to create our own piece of art that is inspired by the artists. I knew that I wanted to paint so researched abstracted painters. I found Sean Scully who is an abstract painter and I liked his paintings because of the simplicity while being detailed with the color, size, patterns, and lines of his paintings. For my painting I did a pattern with rectangles and squares and painted them with different shades of blue, white, and different shades of red.
