In Physics, we did this circuit project to understand how simple and parallel circuits work. For this project, we used a 9-volt battery, aluminum foil, lights, and golden pens. The aluminum foil acted as a conductor, allowing electricity to flow to the light bulbs. In the series circuit, all the lights went out if one part was disconnected, showing that the current has one path. In the parallel circuit, the other lights stayed on even if one was removed, demonstrating multiple paths for the current. This activity was a fun and interactive way to allow me to understand how electricity flows.
For our final in geometry, we are doing a stain glass projects where we paint different geometric shapes on glass. The inspiration of our glass was a church window. The 3 elements of art in our project are shape, color, line. The 3 principles of design are pattern, repetition, and variety. All of these shapes we had to ensure that they met the properties of the shape.Â
