What does it mean to volunteer?  Why would Drew require you volunteer for 100 hours during your high school career?  

Volunteering means working without pay with the aim to aid or leave a positive impact on the community you are working in. Drew requires us to volunteer for 100 hours throughout high school because not only does it help the community we volunteer in, but it helps us grow and develop as people. In my personal experience, I have gained service hours by going on mission trips with my youth group at church. I have gone on 2 mission trips so far, one to Birmingham, Alabama and the other to Puerto Rico. These trips have been very important to me and I hope to go on many more
